Heavy Duty Fine Adjust Pan and Tilt Head
The Maxi pan & tilt head is of robust aluminium and corrosion resistant steel construction and has been developed to support a range of sensors including long range binoculars and cameras, including CCTV and thermal imaging, for surveillance and photographic tasks.
When used in conjunction with one of our rugged tripods such as Instro’s MDT or HDT, or other compatible supports, the Maxi pan & tilt fine adjust head provides a stable platform on which payloads with compatible payload interface adaptors can be quickly and easily mounted.
Maxi units are environmentally sealed and feature precision quick release interface mechanism purposely designed for repeat-ability and ease of location of heavy payloads.
The movement of the payload in azimuth and elevation can be accurately controlled using the fine adjust knobs on the front of the unit. A fine drive release lever in the azimuth axis enables the fine drive to be disengaged if rapid movement of the payload is required.
