VIPER TAS Family
A modular family of target acquisition and joint fires systems engineered to keep operators one step ahead in the field.
Instro's Viper Target Acquisition System family is designed to deliver accurate targeting capabilities for Artillery Forward Observation Officers (FOOs), Fire Support Teams (FSTs), Mortar Fire Controllers (MFCs), Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs), Tactical Air Control Parties (TACPs) and Light Forces Deep Recce Strike callsigns. Instro's CAT I and CAT II capable systems provide modular targeting solutions which can integrate any commercially available STA device.
Instro's focus on system flexibility and adaptability means that users can tailor their solutions to meet the task. Beginning with target locators already held in the inventory, end users can configure the solution to meet a range of mission essential tasks, from basic manual positioning, through motorised solutions, to longer range target acquisition and designation which demand accurate north reference and precise angular measurement.
